The lamb feet have lots of hairs in it and it is very difficult to clean. Hence it is burnt out to get rid of it. If u gets the smoked leg, wash directly and start cooking.Traditionally the lamb feet (Paya) are cooked very slowly using wood or charcoal.This gives a smoky flavor to the lamb feet and it tastes delicious, Ingredients: Lamb Legs 4 Numbers Turermic powder pinch Ginger & Garlic Paste 1 tsp Onion Paste 2 tsp Curry Leaves 1 Bunch Oil 2 tsp Tomato 2 Numbers Salt to taste Garam masala 1/2 tsp Red chill powder 1 tsp Tasting Salt 1/2 tsp Tamarind pulp 1 Cup Corainder leaves 1 Bunch Clean Lamb Legs with little turmeric and water and keep it aside. Take Pressure Cooker add oil to it then add masalas,onions paste,chopped tomato,mix it little bit then add curry leaves, ginger garlic paste,turmeric powder,salt as per taste mix these ingredients.Now add Lamb legs to this mixture, mix it well and add water as required and close the pressure cooker with the lid, let it cook for atleast 30 min in slow flame.Once the lamb legs are cooked then add coriander powder,garam masala powder,red chill powder and mix all these ingredients well.Cook for another 10 to 15 mins add some tamarind pulp 1 cup, if you want more soup you can add some more water into it.Lastly add chopped corrinader leaves and serve. Lamb feet are very nutritious and it can be given to the convalescents for recovering from illness. It has lots of protein and calcium value. Lamb feet has good source for Vitamin B12 also.Lamb hoof (Paya) also served for people with fractures to recover from it.
