Namaskar . Welcome to nishamadhulika.
Today we will make Aloo Pakora on tawa.
These can be prepared instantly and very easily in less oil.
To make pakoras first of all let's make batter.
Take 1/2 cup chickpea flour in a bowl.
Add 2 tbsp semolina to it.
Add semolina to the chickpea flour and mix well.
Add water in small portions.
Make a dense batter till the lumps dissolve.
Do not add much water all at once to make the batter,
then it takes time to dissolve the lumps
and the batter might turn thin too.
So firstly add less water.
Batter is dense,lumps have dissolved.
Add little water and mix it.
Make batter of the same consistency of deep fried pakoras.
Batter of pouring consistency is ready.
Now add spices to it.
Add 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp coriander powder,
1/4 tsp red chili powder, add 2 finely chopped green chili.
If you don't have green chili you can increase the quantity of Red chili.
This is 1 tbsp finely chopped green coriander,
Mix all ingredients well.
If you do not have green coriander
then increase the quantity of Coriander powder.
Add 1 pinch baking soda.
Add it too and mix well.
Keep the batter aside for 10 to 15 minutes.
Let the batter puff up.
Meanwhile till the batter puffs up,
till then peel the potatoes.
We have taken 2 boiled poatatoes.
Peel the potatoes.
Cut round and thin pieces of potato.
Don't cut it too thin.
Keep it thick, just 1/2 cm thick like this.
Potatoes are cut and ready.
10 minutes are done , batter is puffed and ready.
Its consistency is a bit thick.
Add 1 tsp water to it and mix it.
We have added 2 tsp water to it.
Conistency is fine and is pouring.
Batter is neither thin not very thick.
We have used a little more than 1/2 cup water.
Heat the tawa.
add 2 tbsp oil to it.
Spread the oil evenly.
Tawa is hot and the oil is rightly hot.
Now let's put the pakoras to roast on tawa.
Take a potato slice and coat it with batter like this.
Place it on the tawa.
Put as many poatatoes in the tawa as they fit in.
Keep the flame low.
Roast the pakoras from beneath till they turn golden brown.
Let's check the pakoras from beneath if they are roasted.
Pakoras are coming out now flip them.
Pakoras are roasted from beneath.
Flip the pakoras as they are roasted.
Roast them until they are golden brown from both sides.
Flip them at regular intervals.
Pakoras are golden brown, flip it again.
Pakoras are nice and golden brown.
Lift the pakoras and place them in a plate.
Pakoras are roasted and ready.
Roast the pakoras same way as previously.
We are left with little oil.
Add it to the tawa.
Put the pakoras to roast the same way.
If the oil is not at the centre and is on the sides,
You can move the tawa like this and spread the oil.
Move the tawa.
Pakoras are roasted and ready.
It takes 6 to 7 minutes to roast these pakoras at once.
Steaming hot and crispy pakoras are ready.
You can make these in very less oil.
These are really delicious.
These pakoras are tasty as the deep fried one's.
These are prepared really quickly.
So whenever you need to make pakoras instantly for guests,
or you are hungry and want to eat something hot and crispy,
Then you can maker these instantly.
Make tea on one stove
and put Aloo Pakora on the tawa to fry on another flame.
You can serve these pakoras with Tomato sauce, Kasundi
which are always available at home.
You can serve it with your favorite chutney too.

Roast the pakoras from beneath till they turn golden brown. Check the pakoras from beneath if they are roasted, then flip them. Flip and roast until golden brown. 7. Aloo Pakoras are roasted and ready, prepare rest of the pakoras likewise. Serving : 8. Steaming hot and crispy Aloo Pakoras are roasted and ready.
